Impluvium Releases Concept EP Echoes of a Dying Cosmos

Modern metal project Impluvium unveils its newest release, Echoes of a Dying Cosmos, a six-track conceptual EP exploring collapse, reckoning, and renewal through a blend of progressive metal, djent, and atmospheric heaviness.

Structured as a continuous narrative arc, the EP unfolds across six chapters, each track representing a stage in the fall of a civilization — from the initial fracture to the final echo that remains after extinction. The record was introduced by the singles “Collapsing Horizons” and “Ashes of Eternity,” setting the tone for a release defined by low-tuned precision, complex rhythms, and cinematic tension.

Impluvium’s lineup for this project features Tales Ribeiro (guitars, composition), Aly Fioren (guitars), Guilherme Fuse (bass), and Andre Prevedello (drums). Vocal performances on the EP were delivered by Eric Castiglia as a session vocalist.

Production for Echoes of a Dying Cosmos was handled by Tales Ribeiro and Aly Fioren, with mixing and mastering completed by Aly Fioren. The result is a sound that balances crushing weight with clarity and dynamic depth.

More than a collection of standalone tracks, Echoes of a Dying Cosmos is conceived as a cohesive listening experience — a sonic chronicle of destruction, memory, resistance, and transformation. Each song functions as a chapter within a larger thematic framework, reinforcing the project’s commitment to conceptual storytelling.

With this release, Impluvium solidifies its position as a modern metal force driven by precision, atmosphere, and narrative ambition.

Echoes of a Dying Cosmos is available on all major streaming platforms.
