Impluvium Releases New Single “Collapsing Horizons”

Impluvium has officially released “Collapsing Horizons”, the first single from the upcoming concept EP Echoes of a Dying Cosmos. The track marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band, setting the thematic and sonic foundation for what is to come.

“Collapsing Horizons” explores a world on the brink of collapse, reflecting on humanity’s obsession with progress, power, and expansion — and the consequences that inevitably follow. Musically, the song blends heavy modern metal riffs, progressive structures, and intense rhythmic dynamics, reinforcing the sense of tension and downfall expressed in the lyrics.

The single serves as the opening chapter of Echoes of a Dying Cosmos, a six-track conceptual journey that unfolds across interconnected songs. Each chapter expands on the narrative of decay, reflection, resistance, and transformation, both lyrically and musically.

Alongside the release, Impluvium has also unveiled an official lyric video on YouTube. The visual piece is based on the single’s cover artwork, translating its atmosphere and symbolism into motion while allowing listeners to fully engage with the lyrics and narrative.
